Kabir: From Banaras to Boston is a series that explores the timeless wisdom of Kabir, highlighting how his philosophy continues to resonate across cultures and geographies. In this event, two distinguished speakers will share their perspectives on Kabir’s teachings and their relevance today.

Dr. Neelima Shukla-Bhatt is a Professor and Director of South Asia Studies at Wellesley College, MA, with a focus on religions and cultures, and Program Director of the Network of Hinduism in Dialogue at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies. She will share her insights on Suno Bhai Sadho: Kabir’s Call for the 21st-Century Ears.

Shekar Shastri is a Founder Director of Meru Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that brings unique learning programs based on the languages, arts and culture of India. He is an artist, technologist, and teacher at heart, driven by a lifelong curiosity about how intelligence, human or artificial, can create delight, insight, and transformation. He will talk on Kabir’s Metaphors: The Architecture of Awakening.
