Jago World 

Jago World enables transformative education for youths and the community.  They are rep[resented by two member.  Co-Founder and singer, Arun Chaudhari is a poet, singer, musician, and public speaking and yoga teacher.  Anuja Pande has recently moved to Boston where she works as a scientist for the Cystic Fibrosis foundation and she is drawn to every form of music

Kiran Nath 

Kiran Nath is an exceptional Performing Artist. She sings, composes and writes and also teaches music to aspiring singers. A trained classical and ghazal singer, Mehndi Shagnaan Di , Dastaan’ and ‘ Kiran Nath- Live in Concert ‘ are her popular albums. She has also been music director of many albums including Anup Jalota’s Hari Sumiran, and she writes poetry  in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.  Accompanying her will be her students Kunal Nath and Shameek Nath

Krishnakali Dasgupta

Dr. Krishnakali Dasgupta is currently an Associate Research Scientist at Yale. She is also a professional Classical dancer in Manipuri style & a Govt. of India National Scholarship holder in the form. Her dance collective Mitradheya -with her two Guru bhagnis produces contemporary productions in Manipuri style and is completing its  16th year this July. 

LearnQuest

LearnQuest is the oldest and longest-running Indian Classical Music institute in Massachusetts.  Started by Pradeep Shukla over 25 years ago, LearnQuest is committed to the preservation and advancement of both Hindustani and Carnatic music through a variety of instrumental and vocal classes and performances.  Today LearnQuest will be represented by Akash Deep, Anish Khanzode, Pankaj Shah, Sanjay Jain, Saaid Arshad and Pradeep Shukla

M Ramo Rao, Amandeep Singh & Girish Satpute

Amandeep Singh has come together with his guru and guru bhai to present Kabir in Ragi style.  Sh. Rama Rao ji is a professional musician, recognized All India Radio and Doordarshan artist, and has given several public performances in India and New England.  Amandeep Singh, an engineer by profession and poet by heart, sings Shabad regularly at New England Sikh Study Circle Gurdwara Sahib and volunteers at many nonprofits in the Boston area including New England Sikh Study Circle, SAPNE, IDC, Sanjha Punjab.  Girish Satpute is a Financial Professional and also a student also sings Shabad Gurbani regularly at New England Sikh Study Circle Gurdwara Sahib.

Sarbjit Singh  and Hemant Kapoor

Sarbjit Singh  and Hemant Kapoor will present Kabir from Guru Granth Sahib.  Hemant Kapoor is a multi-talented artist who sings from the sufi tradition of Punjab.  He creates sonic landscapes using modern electronic instruments that reimagine age-old stories and ideas.  Sarbpreet Singh is a Boston based writer, podcaster and playwright.  He is also the founder of the Gurmat Sangeet Project, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation of Gurmat Sangeet or Sikh Sacred Music.

Subdrift

SubDrift Boston is a creative community that emerged out of the Diaspora’s need to tell its own stories.  It hosts the longest running South Asian open mic in the US.  Coming up on its tenth anniversary, SubDrift has been home to countless musicians, poets, storytellers, dancers, and comedians as they work their way through the stages – all the while continuing its commitment to a more just and equal society for all.  

Uttarkhandi’s of New England 

Uttarkhandi’s of New England, are a group of people originally from Uttarakhand state in India, now living in the New England area.  Uttarakhand, part of the Himalayan region, is a culturally rich state that is home to several holy sites and is also known as Devbhoomi or “land of the Gods”.  The Uttarkhandis are represented today by Uma Pant, Mukul Pant, Meenakshi Pant,  Deepak Pant, Prakash Badola,  Susheel Tiwari, Tapan Tiwari, Dinesh Bangari, Kiran Bangari and Pramod Pandey
